BRA M: Farma Conde São José Secures Last Semifinals Spot in Superliga Playoffs

Farma Conde Vôlei SJC has secured the last spot in the Men’s Superliga playoffs semifinals by defeating Vôlei Renata 3-1. The victory has set up a face-off against Sada Cruzeiro, the reigning champions, in the next round.
Sada Cruzeiro advanced to the semifinals with ease, winning both matches against Blumenau convincingly. Similarly, Farma Conde São José defeated Campinas in both matches as well.
Though Sada Cruzeiro has won all three games against Farma Conde São José this season, the latter is hoping to cause an upset.
The other semifinal match will see Itambé Minas and Suzano competing against each other. Itambé Minas dominated Sesi-SP in their quarterfinal matchup, extending the career of Leandro Vissotto, who is set to retire at the end of the season.
Suzano, on the other hand, was one of the surprises of the year, rising from Superliga B and going straight to the elite of volleyball’s semifinals, by defeating Guarulhos in two matches. In the Superliga regular phase, Minas and Suzano clashed two times, each winning one match. This promises to be an exciting encounter between two excellent teams.
The semifinals of the Men’s Super League are poised to be thrilling, with Sada Cruzeiro, Farma Conde São José, Itambé Minas, and Suzano, all vying for a spot in the final.
